We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic applicants for the role of Senior Project Officer.

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Senior Project Officer to join our dynamic Community Support and Development Programs team, where you'll play a pivotal role in transforming our communities across the state. In this exciting position, you'll collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders and/or community to develop and implement evidence-based strategies aimed at reducing alcohol and drug-related harm, as well as decreasing the incidence of suicide and suicide attempts and strengthen community wellbeing.

You'll have the opportunity to build capacity of health professionals and community to implement prevention initiatives and foster supportive networks. This includes liaising with other government and non-government agencies and other relevant groups about drug and alcohol prevention issues and mental health and wellbeing.

Your expertise and enthusiasm will drive impactful change, making a real difference in the lives of individuals and communities and help us create a healthier, safer, and more inclusive environment for all West Australians.

In undertaking the role of this position, the occupant will need to recognise that there is a commitment to focussing on the needs of the individual, their families, carers, or advocates working in partnership for better mental health outcomes.
