We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Electrical to lead our residential electrical compliance and rectification team. This is an ideal opportunity for an A-Grade electrician and REC holder who is passionate about rental safety, compliance, and quality workmanship — and who’s ready to step into a leadership role.

About the role

Lead and manage our residential compliance and rectification electrical team

Oversee and deliver electrical safety checks, compliance inspections, and urgent rectification works in rental properties

Support and mentor a team of electricians and apprentices

Accurately scope, quote, and manage compliance-related repairs and upgrades

Ensure all work strictly complies with Victorian rental legislation, Australian Standards, and safety regulations

Work closely with property managers, landlords, and tenants to deliver clear communication and quality service

Drive ongoing improvement of our compliance processes and documentation

What we’re looking for

Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence (current)

Registered Electrical Contractor (REC) licence highly regarded

Extensive experience in residential electrical work, especially compliance and rectifications

Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills

Proven ability to accurately quote and deliver compliance and rectification works

Deep understanding of rental safety obligations and compliance requirements

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple jobs concurrently

High attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality

Excellent communication and customer service skills

V alid driver’s licence

Split system (air conditioning) licence highly regarded
