We are currently seeking a Fixed Term Full Time (2 Year) staff member to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine.
The role
Reporting to the Application Team Leader, we are seeking a Senior Application Support Officer who can bring their skills and experience for:
Responds to a broad range of service requests for support by providing information to fulfill requests or enable resolution.
Provides first line investigation and diagnosis and promptly allocates unresolved issues as appropriate.
Uses consistent processes for identifying potential risk events, quantifying and documenting the probability of occurrence and the impact on the business.
Investigates operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes and organisation.
To be considered you will have:
Diploma or degree in Computer Science, or related technology, or ICT discipline, or acquired through extensive relevant experience.
At least 1-3 years' experience in an application support, service/help desk, or equivalent role.
Experience with Authority, Computron, Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL application lifecycle management tools.
Experience with issue management tools, such as ManageEngine, ServiceNow.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability.
Local government experience is desirable.
