St Peter's College is a Catholic Co-educational Secondary College in Melbourne's south-east region that has a proud history of fostering the educational and spiritual development of its students. For the commencement of the 2026 school year, we are seeking to appoint a Pedagogical Coach at the Cranbourne Campus. The successful applicant will work closely with the Deputy Principal, Learning & Teaching to lead Coaches and teachers in curriculum development, instil best practice pedagogy and ensure that current developments in pedagogy are incorporated into the College's curriculum.
Leadership Positions at the College have an initial tenure of 3 years and are attached to permanent teaching position. After a successful mid-term review, a further 3 years will be offered.
We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about leadership and have the capability to inspire their team with innovative leadership, contemporary teaching and learning.
Our ideal candidate:
Will actively support the Catholic Identity of the College.
Leads in conjunction with the Learning Area Coaches, the development of expert teacher practice across the College.
Oversees the Learning Area Coaches in the development of Curriculum documentation that ensures personalised learning to our students.
Provides the support for Pre-Service teachers (PST), including liaison with Universities and the onsite Induction of PST at the College.
Has an understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and different teaching methodologies.
Excellent communication skills.
Competent in digital technologies.
The successful applicants will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and well-being of children and will hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.
Salary
In accordance with the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Agreement 2022, from 1 July 2025, the salary range for all teaching staff is $79,589 – $118,063. The POL allowance for the Pedagogical Coach is $13,019.
