St Peter's College is a Catholic Co-educational Secondary College in Melbourne's south-east region that has a proud history of fostering the educational and spiritual development of its students. For the commencement of the 2026 school year, we are seeking to appoint a Middle Years Curriculum Leader at the Clyde North Campus.

Leadership Positions at the College have an initial tenure of 3 years and are attached to permanent teaching position. After a successful mid-term review, a further 3 years will be offered.

Our ideal candidate:

Will actively support the Catholic Identity of the College.

Collaborates with the other campus Middle Years Curriculum Leader to ensure consistent assessment and reporting in support of the College’s “One College” policy

Evaluates the effectiveness of implemented teaching strategies and supports continuous improvement.

Regularly reviews assessment programs to ensure they are valid, rigorous, and aligned with curriculum standards.

Has a demonstrated ability to lead a committed and dynamic team of educators.

Has an understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and different teaching methodologies.

Excellent communication skills.

Competent in digital technologies.

The successful applicants will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and well-being of children and will hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.

Salary

In accordance with the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Agreement 2022, from 1 July 2025, the salary range for all teaching staff is $79,589 – $118,063. The POL allowance for the Middle Years Curriculum Leader is $9,629.
