St Peter's College is a Catholic Co-educational Secondary College in Melbourne's south-east region that has a proud history of fostering the educational and spiritual development of its students. St Peter's College offers a rich and relevant curriculum in a modern learning environment which provides every student the opportunity to reach their full potential.

For the commencement of the 2026 school year, we are seeking to appoint a Faith & Mission Leader. This is a newly created cross-campus Position of Leadership for our College. The successful applicant will work closely with the Deputy Principal, Catholic Identity & Mission & Religious Education Coaches to support the liturgical program in the College including but not limited to the Opening School Masses, House Masses, St Peter’s Day Masses, Graduation Masses and Advent Masses.

Leadership Positions at the College have an initial tenure of 3 years and are attached to permanent teaching position. After a successful mid-term review, a further 3 years will be offered.

We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about leadership and have the capability to inspire their team with innovative leadership, contemporary teaching and learning.

Our ideal candidate:

Will actively support the Catholic Identity and Mission of the College.

Lead, in conjunction with the Religious Education Coaches, the development of expert teacher practice in Religious Education.

Animates our Petrine charism and will contribute to a flourishing community of dialogue and action.

Fosters greater relationships with the parishes, and parish schools of Cranbourne and Clyde North and the broader Church community

Has an understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and different teaching methodologies.

Excellent communication skills.

Competent in digital technologies.

The successful applicants will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and well being of children and will hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.

Salary

In accordance with the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Agreement 2022, from 1 July 2025, the salary range for all teaching staff is $79,589 – $118,063. The POL allowance for the Faith & Mission Leader is $13,019.
