St Peter's College is a Catholic Co-educational Secondary College in Melbourne's south-east region that has a proud history of fostering the educational and spiritual development of its students. For the commencement of the 2026 school year, we are seeking to appoint a Learning Adjustment Leader - Extension at the Clyde North Campus.

Leadership Positions at the College have an initial tenure of 3 years and are attached to permanent teaching position. After a successful mid-term review, a further 3 years will be offered.

Our ideal candidate:

Will actively support the Catholic Identity of the College.

Supports the development of extension opportunities for students and the identification and support of students who are identified as exceptional learners at St Peter’s College.

Partners with relevant staff (e.g. Assessment Data & Reporting Leader, Middle Years Curriculum Leader), analyse learning data to develop targeted extension strategies for improving outcomes for exceptional learners.

Builds teacher capacity to extend high-achieving students through evidence-based classroom strategies and differentiated instruction.

Has an understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and different teaching methodologies.

Excellent communication skills.

Competent in digital technologies.

The successful applicants will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and well-being of children and will hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.

Salary

In accordance with the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Agreement 2022, from 1 July 2025, the salary range for all teaching staff is $79,589 – $118,063. The POL allowance for the Learning Adjustment Leader - Extension is $3,133.
