Reporting to the Production Manager, the key duties for this role are:

• Provide hands on leadership at the floor level for production staff

• Assist with the manufacturing of products

• Maintain, clean, and calibrate a range of equipment within the production plant

• Assist the Production Manager and troubleshoot production issues as required

• Assist with scheduling production and manufacturing timetables and staff management

• Investigate process improvements to reduce costs and improve product quality and efficiency

• Work with production team to ensure consistent quality of finished product

• Assist with safety management for the production facility

About the candidate:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a chemical process manufacturing supervisory role or 5 years’ experience in related fields

Valid driver’s license

Familiarity with Excel and Microsoft Office

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Reliability and ability to work autonomously

High degree of safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures

Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and organize daily tasks effectively

Pride in work and a continuous improvement mindset

Ability to meet and exceed productivity and quality standards

Physically fit and in good health
