Silverstrand is seeking an experienced Civil Leading Hand to join our team on our SEQ + Rural Projects.

Experienced in delivering Civil, Bridges, Road and Drainage projects.

Long term projects + Full time opportunities for the right candidate.

$68.69 P/H + OT + $30 Daily Travel

Projects in North/ South Brisbane, Gold Coast, FIFO, DIDO, etc

About the Role:

Reporting to the Supervisor - You will be responsible for, but not limited to;

Work across a variety of different civil and structures projects

Work closely with the Supervisors to implement construction plans

Ensure daily work activities are delegated efficiently at pre-start

Directly lead and oversee small crews in completing DTMR or local council construction projects

Monitor and report on the progress of projects and make adjustments as necessary

Utilize, read and interpret project plans, designs and other instructions given by the Superintendent and Project Manager

Supervise the team to ensure the final product meets specifications in terms of design, quality, safety, and budget

Plan and schedule work, and allocate resources to meet project objectives

Provide guidance and training to junior staff and contractors

Coordinate and participate in safety meetings and inspections

Hands on Leading Hand - Ability to work in with crews

About You:

Minimum of 3 years in the construction industry as a Leading Hand

Previous experience in Civil working on Road, Bridge and Earthwork's projects

White card

Machine Tickets - Excavator, Skid Steer, Roller - Required

HR Licence
