Silverstrand is seeking experienced Civil Scaffolders to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team. You will be based in our Brisbane or Gold Coast office and employed on a permanent basis.

About the role:

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, this role is responsible for:

Unloading scaffolding from vehicles

Creating a stable base on the ground

Erecting scaffolding poles and attaching horizontal tubes to them

Fixing scaffolding to a building

Laying planks across scaffolding for workers to walk on to complete work

Fix guard rails and safety nets

Take down scaffolding after job completion

Other ad hoc duties are requested by the Site Forman / Leading Hand

Work in conjunction with all Silverstrand Developments employees to achieve the business objectives

Take a proactive approach to Health and Safety and promote Silverstrand Developments Zero Harm Culture

Essential Skills and Experience:

A minimum of 3 years' civil construction experience as a scaffolder

Intermediate/ Advanced scaffolding ticket

Construction Induction card (White Card)

RIW Card - Highly Regarded

Current Driver’s licence with the ability to get to and from site

Fit and able - able to pass a pre-employment medical

An eye for detail and a commitment to quality

A strong commitment to working safely and productively
