The Role

Our large-scale government delivery partner is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on Azure Arc to join their team supporting secure hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure. This is a permanent role ideal for a cloud engineer with at least 2 years of experience and an active NV1 security clearance. THis role is based either in Ballarat or Melbourne.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and manage Azure Arc across on-prem, multi-cloud, and edge environments.
• Design and deploy scalable, secure Azure infrastructure solutions.
• Develop automation scripts using ARM templates, Azure CLI, and PowerShell.
• Monitor performance and optimise resource usage using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.

About You

• 2+ years' experience in Azure cloud engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Arc and hybrid cloud integrations.
• Skilled in scripting and automation using IaC tools (e.g. ARM, PowerShell).
• Understanding of cloud networking, monitoring, and identity security.
• Must hold a current NV1 clearance.
