Overview:

Kaliba are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join a top client in Melbourne, with strong expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure cloud infrastructure, and hybrid networking environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and enjoys working across both collaboration platforms and cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and optimise Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

Design, deploy and manage Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS resources to meet business and technical requirements.

Build and manage DevOps pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for streamlined deployments.

Support and implement hybrid network solutions including ExpressRoute, Azure Virtual WAN, and Virtual Network Manager.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, high-performing, and scalable cloud environments.

Monitor and troubleshoot cloud and M365 services to ensure optimal performance and availability.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 apps, including advanced knowledge of Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

Previous DevOps experience

In-depth understanding of Azure services, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and DevOps tools (e.g. ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform).

Proven experience with Azure networking – including ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, VNet Peering, and Virtual Network Manager.

Certifications in AZ-104 and AZ-400 are essential.

Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
