THE ROLE
We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic Call Centre Team Leader to join our direct sales team. If you have a passion for providing customers with the best possible experience and hold a desire to learn how to lead and motivate a team, we want to hear from you! Our mission is to help customers achieve their backyard dreams!
This role will initially commence within our call centre as a Sales Representative, allowing you to gain in-depth knowledge of our products, processes, and customer experience standards. During this time, you’ll be trained and developed with the clear intention of stepping into the Call Centre Team Leader role. We’re dedicated to supporting your leadership journey and setting you up for long-term success within the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive performance and optimise sales to ensure team targets are consistently met.
Mentor, manage, and motivate the core sales team to deliver high-quality customer experiences.
Support the team by handling overflow tasks, including making outbound and inbound sales or service calls when required.
Monitor and review call quality, sales techniques, discounting, and overall team performance.
Act as the first point of escalation for any sales or customer-related issues.
Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
Effectively manage team workloads, ensuring adequate coverage and prioritisation across all shifts.
WHO ARE YOU?
The ideal candidate will hold the following qualities and experience;
At least 2-3 years Sales & Customer Service Experience.
Ability to lead by example by assisting in Sales team responsibilities.
Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening.
Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time effectively in a fast paced environment.
Detail oriented and well organised.
Ability to resolve complaints and problem solve.
Have good initiative to make improvements to the quality of service and productivity of the team.
Strong work ethic and the willingness to go the extra mile.
