About the role
Are you an experienced Electronic Security Technician looking to join a growing, innovative security services company? ABC Alarms Pty Ltd. in Brisbane is seeking a full-time Electronic Security Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic security systems for commercial customers.
What you'll be doing
Installing, testing, and maintaining a variety of electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, and fire detection systems
Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning security equipment
Providing emergency call-out services to customers as needed
Keeping detailed records of all work performed and maintaining a high level of customer service
Collaborating with the sales and project management teams to ensure successful project completion
What we're looking for
At least 3 years of experience as an Electronic Security Technician or similar role
Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic security systems
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
