Pacific Security Group are seeking an experienced Brisbane based Electronic Security Technician to join our professional team on a full-time basis, installing and troubleshooting security systems to ensure minimal disruption to client operations.

Qualifications & experience:

Minimum of 3 years' hands on experience in Alarms, CCTV, Access Control & Intercoms

Strong background working in the electronic security industry

Class 2 Security License for the installation and maintenance of security systems

Open Cabler’s License with necessary endorsements to handle low-voltage cabling installations

White Card certification for working in construction environments

Blue Card certification (a bonus)

Current First Aid certification (a bonus)

Elevated Work Platform (EWP) certification

High level of experience with both commercial and residential installations

Current residence in Brisbane or easily commutable location

Specific experience with the following:

Inception alarm and access control

Integriti and/or Tecom systems including access control

Commercial and Residential intercom & high end access control applications (2 wire & IP)

Salto Access Control experience is advantageous

Hikvision AX Pro and/or AJAX Alarm systems (training can be provided where required)

Bosch Alarm & Access Control

Duties & responsibilities

Install, configure, and test electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, intercoms and alarm systems

Understand & have experience with set up of wireless links and networking

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of existing security setups

Provide on-site technical support to clients to address malfunctions

Assess and scope new site installations to meet customer needs and specifications

Liaise with customers and address their concerns, providing system training where needed

Document installation procedures and system changes for compliance and reporting purposes

Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to ensure timely and efficient project completion

Stay updated on industry trends and technologies

Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and parts required for installations and service

Client base split of 80% commercial, 20% residential
