The Company
Edutemps are proud to be partnering with a values-led Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that provides nationally recognised training to learners across Australia. Known for their commitment to excellence and innovation, they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to join their collaborative team.
The Role
This is an exciting, full-time permanent opportunity for a skilled all-rounder who thrives in dynamic environments. You will provide customer service, administrative, financial, and executive support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Based in South Brisbane, this position plays a key role in supporting students, trainers, and internal stakeholders across the organisation. This is a hybrid role (3 days office and 2 days working from home).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt and professional service to students and partners via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Respond to voicemails within 60 minutes and action all support tickets within 24 hours
- Manage online shop orders, inventory levels, and courier logistics
- Process accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, credit notes, and payroll using Xero
- Maintain accurate financial records including daily reconciliations and monthly reporting
- Support students with course logins, enrolments, and certificate verifications
- Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements for executives and staff
- Assist with conference planning, student orientations, and internal communications
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports; track payments and partner subscriptions
- Update pricing and product information across Shopify, website, and CRM platforms
The Successful Candidate
- Certificate IV (or higher) in Business Administration, Office Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role, ideally within an RTO
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Xero, and student or customer management systems (e.g. SMS/CRM)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
- Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail
- Comfortable working across multiple systems, with the ability to follow and refine business processes
- TAE qualification desirable but not essential
