Edutemps excited to be partnering with a trusted provider of accredited training and advisory services in the assurance and compliance space. They are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Food Safety Trainer to deliver a suite of Food Safety & Quality programs on a contract basis.

This is a part-time, flexible contract opportunity with a daily rate of $800–$900, and offers a great mix of online and classroom delivery. The training covers nationally recognised units such as Lead Food Safety Auditor and Principles and Applications of HACCP.

The Role

• Facilitate engaging delivery of nationally accredited food safety courses
• Deliver public and in-house sessions via classroom and online platforms
• Conduct competency-based assessments under AQF and Exemplar Global frameworks
• Provide timely, professional feedback and support to participants
• Ensure all delivery is in line with RTO compliance standards
• Participate in moderation/validation and course updates as a subject matter expert

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116 with compliant updates)
• Substantial and current experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance
• Prior delivery of accredited VET training in food safety, HACCP, or auditing (e.g. HLTFSE units)
• Vocational competencies equivalent to the level of delivery (e.g. Lead Auditor, HACCP, Food Safety)
• Experience with adult learning methodology and virtual delivery platforms (e.g. Zoom, LearnUpon)
• Strong communication, learner engagement, and time management skills

Bonus if You Have:

• Postgraduate qualifications in food safety, QA, or education
• Experience delivering across multiple food sector categories
• Membership with relevant industry bodies (e.g. AOQ, ASQ, AIFST)
