Collections Officer – Global ASX-Listed Software Company

We’re hiring a Collections Officer to join a global ASX-listed software company and support their collections team of eight.

This fast-growing business values collaboration, innovation, and employee wellbeing. You’ll play a key role managing a US debtor ledger end to end, handling all aging buckets and taking full responsibility for the ledger.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Monitor and manage debtor ledgers for a US supplier
• Contact customers by email and phone, confidently making outbound calls to encourage timely payment
• Handle payment reminders and follow-ups
• Accurately reconcile customer accounts, trace payments, resolve discrepancies, and escalate issues when needed
• Refer and manage aged debt with external collection agencies
• Provide timely and accurate reports on account status, including aged debt analysis and collection progress
• Follow a process-driven approach to credit collection, using clear and consistent steps to efficiently manage outstanding payments

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years’ experience in collections
• Confident phone manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to think creatively and find solutions
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency with Excel
• Experience working in a medium to large business preferred
