About the role

Black Label Developments is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Site Manager/Leading Hand to join our dynamic construction team based in Seaforth, NSW. As a full-time permanent employee, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring efficient site operations and the highest standards of quality and safety.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating the work of construction crews, subcontractors and tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
• Monitoring and maintaining site safety, implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures
• Scheduling and coordinating the workflow, equipment and materials to optimise productivity on site
• Liaising with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and provide progress updates
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations and company policies
• Identifying and addressing potential risks and problems, and implementing solutions to minimise delays and disruptions
• Providing guidance, training and mentoring to junior site staff to develop their skills and capabilities

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in a senior site management or leading hand role within the construction industry, ideally in residential or commercial projects
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects, with a strong focus on safety, quality and efficiency
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and guide construction crews to achieve project goals
• Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, equipment and relevant building codes and regulations
• Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools
• Current construction industry certifications (e.g. White Card, CPCCBC4012B) and a valid driver's licence
