Accentric Group is looking for a QA & Drafting Engineer to join our fast growing team. Our head office is based at Scoresby, Victoria, and has remote staffs across Australia. We offer a variety of product ranges from sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, Welding, Forging and Casting.

The Role:
You will be in charge of the QA & Drafting Engineer which supports the company's goal of growing profitable sales by offering our technical support and ensuring satisfaction in quality. This role will require dealing with our vendors across the world, involving day to day interaction to ensure the product is made to specification and smooth shipments delivery.
Your Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:
2D and 3D drafting (SolidWorks or Equivalent);
Ensuring the supply product meets the customer or Australian Standard requirements;
Provide technical support to both our customers and other commercial sales team members;
Creating and managing the inspection sheet for each of the products
Communicate with a range of manufacturers - ensure they understand the specification and complete the routine batch inspection.
The ability to work with customers, and internal and external stakeholders with great patience and politeness, ensuring excellent technical support;
Co-ordination with cross functional teams like Warehouse, Sales, Purchasing and Logistics to ensure smooth order execution;
Co-ordination with factories to ensure completion updates, QA inspections and sharing of market updates;
Handle and support technical enquiries over the phone and email, and backup support to other commercial sales team members;
Build and maintain excellent levels of technical and product knowledge;
Managing weekly manufacturing reports and advising internal stakeholders of any necessary changes.
Proactively gain the support and buy-in of internal and external customers through extensive technical support, attention to detail, product and order information as well as following though
Deliver service improvements by seeking to continuously improve and contribute to a reduction in errors through careful processing of QA inspection and control.
You will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
3-5 years (preferred) experience in a QA and drafting role, ideally in the Power industry / Metal Fabrication or similar;
Read and speaking Mandarin Chinese are preferred (this is due to majority of our vendors are based at China)
Good business acumen, initiative, honesty, responsible, integrity and an eagerness to learn are essential criteria for this role;
Prior experience in dealing with QA with oversea manufacturers preferred;
Strong Solid Edge drafting software would be desirable;
Competent user of Microsoft Office and Google Sheet;
Experience and ability to effectively utilise google Sheets/Excel for the manufacturing status, QA inspection, and drawing data allocation.
Self-starter, proactive and demonstrated experience in a consistent business generation;
Great attention to detail, strong communication skills, both written & oral;
Excellent time management skills;
Passionate & enthusiastic;
Willingness to learn and develop skills and knowledge;
Ability to build & maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
