A unique opportunity exists for a Senior or Principal Civil/Structural Engineer to step into a key technical leadership role, focused on the design and delivery of high-voltage overhead transmission lines. Be part of a high-performing, collaborative team that leads major power and renewable energy projects across Australia and the Asia Pacific.

This role sits within one of the most technically capable transmission line teams in the region, and offers a clear path to long-term progression, international exposure, and design influence on some of the most complex energy infrastructure in the market.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of overhead HV transmission line projects (up to 500kV)

Provide technical oversight and mentoring to a growing team of engineers

Conduct tower and pole structural design using PLS-CADD, TOWER, and POLE

Ensure compliance with relevant codes including AS/NZS 7000, ASCE 74, ASCE 10, IEEE 1284.1

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time and technically robust delivery

Participate in tender preparation, feasibility studies, and client engagement as required

About You

✔️ Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
✔️ Minimum 6 years of experience in transmission infrastructure design
✔️ High proficiency in PLS-CADD, TOWER, POLE
✔️ Deep understanding of transmission systems and structural analysis
✔️ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
✔️ Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or working towards (highly desirable)
✔️ Experience working with Australian or international utilities preferred
