The Opportunity
A leading consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Structural Engineer to lead a high-performing team. You’ll work across complex structural and civil infrastructure projects, including waste facilities, industrial buildings, and retaining systems. This role offers the chance to shape a team, drive technical excellence, and influence strategic growth — all within a flexible and supportive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of structural engineers and uphold high design standards
• Oversee the design and delivery of industrial and civil infrastructure projects
• Manage project stages from concept to construction
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Contribute to business development and secure new project work
• Mentor junior team members and support their professional development
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards
• Participate in resource planning and project management activities

About You:

• Degree-qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering
• 10–15 years' experience across industrial and infrastructure sectors
• Strong leadership skills with previous team management experience
• Advanced proficiency in structural design software and relevant codes
• Confident communicator with strong report writing skills
• Experience managing projects from design through to delivery
• Eligible for Engineers Australia membership
• Full Australian working rights
