About the position:
Whitsunday Counselling and Support Inc are seeking a qualified and experienced Therapeutic Case Manager to join our dedicated supportive team at our Temporary Supported accommodation and to provide therapeutic trauma informed case management for women and children who are escaping and been impacted by domestic and family violence.
The position will be based at our Cannonvale Office however you will be required to work at other outreach locations within the Whitsundays area.
The successful applicant will also be part of a 24 hour on call roster system.

The position is for 76 hours per fortnight full-time, however flexible hours and part time employment would be considered for the suitable candidates.
Remuneration and allowances are based on qualifications and experience as per the Social & Community Services Employee classification in the Social Community Homecare & Disability Services Award. Wage range between $88,000 - $101,000 approximately.
We also offer additional benefits including not for profit remote area salary sacrifice packaging, annual professional development allowance and internal & external supervision is available.
Partial reimbursement of relocation expenses may be considered to eligible applicants who currently reside outside the Whitsunday region.
Applicants need to currently hold:
A tertiary qualification of a diploma or above in either Social Sciences, Social Work or Psychology or other related discipline is desirable.
A sound knowledge of the impact of domestic and family violence & at least 2 years demonstrated experience working in the field.
Eligible for membership with AASW, APS or ACA (or currently working towards gaining membership) is desirable.
Experience working in a case management framework
Applicants must have the following (or able to obtain) before commencing employment with Whitsunday Counselling and Support Inc.
Blue Card (QLD clearance to work with children)
Current drivers’ licence is required
National Police Check
