Stepping Stones Child Development Centre is an initiative of the East Fremantle Baptist Church. We offer a quality early childhood education and care program for children aged 2- 5 years in our 40-place not-for-profit service.

Your Skills:

Be kind, compassionate, inclusive and honest in your everyday interactions with our community;

Prepare, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate learning programs and observations that embrace each child's individuality and promote their ongoing growth, development and wellbeing;

Engage in consistent professional and respectful communication with families, children, educators and community members;

Utilize various software programs with confidence (Microsoft Office, XPLOR, Deputy)

Confidently articulate your understanding of current early childhood pedagogy and best practice, including EYLF V2.0, NQS, and associated learning and development theories and principles;

Be committed to continuous professional and personal growth and development;

Tell us more about your experience in line with the following:

Previous experience in an ECEC setting;

Knowledge, understanding and experience using the EYLF and NQS;

Bachelor of Early Childhood, Certificate 3 or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA;

Current Working with Children Clearance and National Police Clearance;

Current Food Handling training or willingness to obtain;

Current First Aid qualifications (HTLAID0012) or willingness to obtain;

Understanding of your obligations for Mandatory reporting;

Ability to demonstrate a competent level of English, both written and spoken;
