About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to oversee construction operations, ensuring maximum productivity and profitability. You will lead Project Supervisors, and teams, maintaining positive cash flow and high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards, resource allocation, vendor negotiations, and client relations. Your leadership will drive team performance, customer retention, and overall profitability delivering projects on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management and delivery of projects, including tendering, project scoping, administration, scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control from contract award through to completion.
• Cultivate and nurture client relationships, representing the company at all client/stakeholder meetings.
• Overall responsibility for project compliance, quality, health, safety, and environmental standards and targets.
• Lead by example and inspire your team to do their best every day.
• Ensure that the quality of work meets the project's requirements and complies with relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
• Support strategic planning and operational activities.
• Mentor and support team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Work with other tradespeople and communicate with clients.
• Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
• Manage construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure they follow project specifications and safety standards.
• Ensure that the construction activities are completed on time and within budget.

• Desirable: Senior leadership skills and a strong grasp of senior leadership responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering
• Deep understanding and commitment to safety standards
• Strong commercial acumen
• Proven ability to drive programs, clients, and consultants to achieve results
• Excellent programming and planning abilities
• Relevant experience in a similar role within a contractor environment
• Ability to balance on and off-site project management responsibilities.
• Flexible to travel within the Northern Territory.
• Ability to provide a police check.
