About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant who is seeking a chance to develop their skills and grow into a leadership role. This role sits within a collaborative and supportive Finance team.

This role will allow you to work across month end, year end / half year end reporting, budgeting and forecasting as well as getting experience partnering with business partnering and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support with budget variances and provide actionable insights.
• Support and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standard and assist with internal and external audits.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial operations and implement best practices in accounting procedures.
• Assess financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies and develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
• Present financial findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Maintain and enhance financial management systems and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.

The successful applicant will have:

• CA/CPA qualification (or studying towards)
• Big4 / Mid tier first mover
• Commercial experience as a Financial accountant or Management accountant within an ASX listed business
• A willingness to be challenged and a proactive approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with prior examples of stakeholder management experience.
