About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.
Key duties will include:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across residential, and trade markets
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients and dealer-based partners
- Implement strategic sales and marketing initiatives to achieve revenue targets
- Prepare accurate quotes, proposals and sales presentations
- Conduct market research to monitor trends and competitor activity
- Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, opportunities, and interactions
- Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth delivery and service
- Provide regular reporting to senior management on sales and market activity
Requirements
We are seeking a candidate who:
Essential:
- Has several years’ experience in business development or sales
- Has previous experience in blinds, curtains, interior furnishings, or home improvement
- Demonstrates strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Possesses proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Holds a valid driver’s licence and can travel as required
Desirable:
- Has an established network within the window furnishings or interiors industry
- Understands interior design trends and customer buying behaviour
