Environmental Scientist - Carbon Sequestration
Remote working
Up to $140k plus super
If you're motivated by solving big, real-world problems, they don't get much more real than climate change.
Sequestering carbon to offset emissions is a big part of the solution. For that to work though, project outcomes have to be monitored and verified, and those running them, kept accountable.
That why we're looking for a Reporting Analyst/Environmental Scientist to join one Australia's fastest growing climate teams.
We need someone who can analyse carbon projects, assess performance, and make recommendations if things go awry. In short, you'll be the last line of defence in making sure projects deliver what they're supposed to deliver.
Key Skills/Experience:
You'll need a strong background in Environmental Science/Reporting, as well as:
- Experience querying data with SQL
- An understanding of Geospatial information
If you're already familia with carbon markets and frameworks like FullCAM/SavCAM/SavBAT, that'd be helpful - it's not a dealbreaker though.
