Audit Assist + Fully Technical Position (no BD)

North Shore offices – close to public transport and amenities

Senior Environmental Consultant / Scientist in Contaminated Sites for an Australian Environmental Consultancy with a strong pipeline in not just Assessment but also a big focus (and big projects) in Remediation.

This role, joining the Sydney office jumps into the team to work on assessment & remediation projects across major infrastructure (transport), urban developments, landfills, waste & mining + support one of the Auditors in an Audit Assist Capacity.

For a person that wants to head towards becoming an Auditor, from day 1 they will lay out a clear pathway for you to get there.

The Team:

The Sydney team is a fantastic mix of youth & experience and includes 3x EPA Auditors to learn from. There is also opportunity to step into an Audit Assist role if that is something you're interested in for your career path.

This consultancy has a huge focus on collaboration & contribution which means two things: 1. every member of staff, no matter their level of experience is able to bring ideas to the table. 2. The Principals & State Director are on hand to knowledge share and help the team grow.

Projects:

Aside from the technical projects, you will also receive exposure to expert witness cases.

PSI and DSI / Phase I & II Assessments

Remediation Strategies and Implementation

Validations

Project pipeline includes multi-year, multi-million-dollar sites which include:

Multi-Million $$ – Site Investigation, Soil Remediation, Groundwater Monitoring and Contaminant Modelling of Contaminated Soil.

Groundwater Remediation. Chlorinated Solvent Plume and Hydrocarbon NAPL plume migration.

Who this will suit?

This role is ideal for an Environmental Consultant sitting in that 6-12 year pocket who is good at technical reporting, can independently run projects and wants to head towards an Auditor position.

This will suit someone who enjoys the team collaboration side of the business (as you'll mentor Junior Consultants & Grads) and bouncing ideas off other people for the best results.
