The Role

We are looking for a new team member to support and provide supervisory assistance to our much-loved shop in Yeppon!

This hands-on role supports daily operations, and creates a welcoming space for customers and volunteers. You’ll help lead a passionate team, deliver great customer service, and make a real impact in your local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operations of the store in line with SVdP standards and procedures
• Open and close the store, including cash handling and banking duties
• Merchandise and restock the store to drive sales and meet performance targets
• Deliver professional, values-based customer service and contribute to a positive team culture
• Support and guide volunteers, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment
• Supervise and assist with the induction, training, and development of volunteers and staff
• Perform other duties as required by the manager

This is a 12 Months Fixed-Term, Full-Time (38 hours per week) role based in Yeppon. The successful candidate must have full availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 4:15pm, with flexibility to work on Saturdays as required.

What you’ll bring:

• Your experience – previous experience in retail including merchandising, cash handling, workplace health and safety and effective communication skills
