Your Opportunity
We’re searching for a confident, polished, and charismatic Maitre d'hotel or Head Host to be the welcoming heart of Blackbird Melbourne. In this role, you’ll lead the guest experience from the moment they walk through the door, setting the tone for a truly unforgettable visit.

What You’ll Do

Greet every guest with warmth, professionalism, and presence

Manage reservations and guest flow with calm confidence

Coordinate seamless seating and communicate with floor staff

Personalise the experience for VIPs, regulars and special occasions

Handle guest inquiries and provide thoughtful, on-the-spot solutions

Keep the reception area immaculate and inviting

Support the team in delivering world-class service at every touchpoint

What You’ll Bring

At least 2 years’ experience as a Maitre d’ or Head Host in a premium venue

Strong communication, charm, and natural leadership

Excellent multitasking and problem-solving under pressure

Experience with POS and reservation systems

Impeccable grooming and presentation

A genuine passion for hospitality and creating moments guests will remember
