Our client is a respected and long-standing boutique firm based in an inner city suburb of Melbourne. They provide a diverse range of services to prominent commercial, residential, and government clients across Victoria and are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to join our team.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced building surveyor/building regulations consultant to come on board. Flexible working arrangements are on offer (half work from home, half work from the office). The role will focus on commercial projects including high rise buildings, large isolated warehouses, residential multi story etc.

In this role, you will:

• Gain the opportunity to further develop your business acumen and technical expertise in building regulations, codes, and standards.
• Join a young, dynamic team of Building Code Consultants.
• Manage your own client portfolio and perform a broad range of Building Surveying duties, including BCA assessments and regulatory responsibilities, under the guidance of our experienced Directors.

Required Qualifications and Technical Skills:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail, commercial, industrial, and multi-residential building surveying.
• Registered Building Practitioner (BS-L or BS-U), or actively working towards registration.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Solid technical understanding of the Building Act, Regulations, NCC, and relevant Australian Standards.
