Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced, professional, Housekeeper / Organiser to assist with daily household management in our private residence. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing a wide range of housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, organising, and food preparation. . Key Responsibilities:
Working in a team with another housekeeper
- Housekeeping & Cleaning:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks: dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning to maintain a pristine appearance throughout the home.
- Regularly disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, tables, chairs, and shared equipment.
- Maintain bathroom cleanliness, ensuring sinks, countertops, and fixtures are spotless, stocked with supplies.
- Conduct deep-cleaning tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Clean and maintain kitchen and dining areas, including appliances, surfaces, and organising cupboards and pantry.
- Manage laundry: washing, drying, ironing, folding, and maintaining linen and wardrobe organisation.
- Keep all storage spaces, closets, and cupboards tidy and organised.
- Ensure the fridge and pantry are clean, well-organised, and stocked appropriately.
- Maintain neatness and organisation of all areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms, and outdoor spaces.

- Organising & Decluttering:
- Re-arrange cupboards, wardrobes, and storage spaces to optimise organisation.
- Tidy up living spaces and ensure surfaces are clear and surfaces are well-maintained.
- Assist with decluttering and organising as needed.

- Food Preparation & Cooking:
- Prepare family-friendly meals, using simple recipes provided.
- Assist with meal planning and ensure the kitchen remains clean and organised after cooking.
- Monitor and organise food supplies, including pantry and fridge.

- Childcare duties
- Take initiative to see when mum needs a hand and play with the children
- Assist with children's belongings.
- Assist with after school pick up and activities .

Qualifications & Skills:

- Minimum of 2 year professional housekeeping experience.
- Capable of preparing and cooking simple, family-friendly meals.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Mature outlook with self-initiative and a calm demeanor.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with laundry, cleaning, organising, and general household management.
- Local experience and references (at least five) are essential.
