Corporate Keys Australia, a leading provider of fully furnished self-contained accommodation and boutique hotel stays in Southbank, Bayside, and the inner south eastern suburbs, is excited to announce an opportunity within our dynamic team. We are currently in a growth phase and are seeking a casual Accommodation Services Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is a student or can only work during school hours, offering flexibility to fit around your study or family commitments. You will require a customer-focused and methodical approach to your work in order to maintain the excellent profile and high standards that our customers have come to expect.
This varied role involves, but is not limited to:
- Completing pre-arrival property preparation;
- Basic property maintenance and internet troubleshooting;
- Quality and cleanliness checks on hotel common areas and apartments.
The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:
- An ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds and cultures;
- Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to change, with a sound work ethic;
- Demonstrated ability to maintain excellent customer service when dealing with competing priorities;
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as an individual with limited supervision. A self-starter would be ideal;
- The ability to work both on planned appointments and on-call for emergencies.
- Technology savvy.
Emergencey Phone:
As with all roles at Corporate Keys, this position requires participation in the emergency phone roster. Each night on call is compensated at a fixed rate, with additional remuneration provided if you are called out during your rostered night, as specified in the award. We typically receive a maximum of three calls per week, which usually only require troubleshooting assistance over the phone. The goal is to resolve issues remotely, though there may be instances where leaving your home is necessary.
Requirements:
- You must have a current Australian Driving licence.
- Reliable vehicle for times when the company vans are unavailable.
- Full training will be provided upon commencement of the position.
- Experience in the serviced apartments or hotel sector with a focus on housekeeping is an advantage.
The successful applicant will work Monday to Sunday on a rotating roster depending on business demands. This position may particularly suit a student with part-time availability or those seeking workplace flexibility.
We are also open to negotiating an above award hourly wage for the right candidate after a period of 3 months, reflecting our commitment to recognising and rewarding exceptional performance and dedication.
