About the Role

As the Educational Leader, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing educational programs across the service. This is a non-teaching role, which allows for focus on leadership and mentoring across all classrooms, guiding Educators on best practice, inclusivity and the implementation of the RIE Approach as well as our Reconciliation Action Plan. You will lead curriculum development, facilitate Educators’ professional growth, and promote best-practice pedagogy throughout the centre. You will report into the Centre Manager and collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure alignment with the vision and goals of both the centre and broader business.

Essential Criteria:

• Valid NSW Working With Children Check
• Solid understanding of contemporary child safe practices
• Flexible, adaptable, and available for full-time work across all operational days and hours
• Significant proven mentoring and/or leadership experience within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector
• ACECQA approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or a recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree (or working towards, depending on course progress)
• Current relevant First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates as well as Child Protection training completed within the last 12 months — specifically CHCPRT025: Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (or willingness to obtain/renew as required).
