Your role will be to assist with ensuring the centre provides the highest quality care and education for children aged between 6 weeks to 6 years, build strong relationships with families and be a role model of best practice to our team of dedicated educators.

As an Educational Leader your role will entail:

Experience as an Educational Leader is preferred but not essential for the right candidate

Help guide the team in providing the highest quality of Early Childcare Education in line with the NQF and EYLF.

Mentor all staff members across the Service and assist with career development and professional growth

Ensuring excellent verbal and written communication skills to share with your team and the families within our Service.

About you:

A Bachelor of Education/Teaching in Early Childhood or Diploma in Early Childhood (Working towards Bachelor of Education)

Highly organised with the ability to multi-task

Have a high-level working knowledge of EYLF, NQS and QIP

Ability to 'think on your feet' to adapt and deliver strategies within the Centre to support staff and families

Passion for early childhood education

Skills to lead and mentor other educators, motivating them to excel as you deliver care and educational programs

Strong customer relationships

Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and CPR Certificates

Child Protection Certificate

Hold a current Working with Children Check

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
