About the Role

As a Senior Fraud Specialist, you'll play a key role in protecting the organisation from fraud across its asset and vendor finance operations. This position will see you lead investigations, analyse fraud trends, enhance controls, and influence business-wide improvements. You'll work closely with stakeholders across departments to drive effective fraud prevention strategies while ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead fraud investigations, including evidence gathering, interviews, and case documentation
• Design and deliver training programs on fraud detection and prevention
• Manage fraud monitoring systems and oversee the reporting of suspicious activities
• Analyse complex data to identify patterns, root causes, and mitigation strategies
• Produce regular and ad-hoc reports for senior management and risk committees
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement process improvements and reduce risk exposure
• Influence stakeholders to embed fraud controls and drive accountability across the business

Key Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in fraud risk management, or operational controls within financial services.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail
• Proven ability to conduct interviews, analyse data, and produce clear, professional reports
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Understanding of relevant laws and regulations in Australia and New Zealand
• Legal right to work in Australia
