About the Role:

Working within the firm’s Corporate Tax Advisory team, you’ll advise a diverse client base, including Australia’s major banks, international financial institutions, fintech companies, and emerging crypto businesses. While some tax compliance is involved, the primary focus of this role is advisory and complex tax consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of high-profile clients within the Banking and Capital Markets sector
• Deliver technical tax advice and commercial solutions on a wide range of corporate tax matters
• Lead multiple engagements, managing scope, resources and deadlines
• Support the development of junior team members through coaching and mentoring
• Build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Identify new business opportunities and assist in developing proposals

About You:

You’ll bring strong corporate tax technical knowledge, excellent client management skills, and a proactive, commercial mindset. The team is open to candidates from a range of backgrounds - professional services, in-house Financial Services tax teams, or a law firm environment.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' corporate tax experience, ideally within a Big 4, mid-tier, or Financial Services environment
• Strong advisory experience; experience within the Banking and Capital Markets sector is highly regarded
• Experience managing client relationships and overseeing multiple engagements
• Strong technical tax knowledge and the ability to deliver clear, commercial advice
• Tertiary qualifications in accounting, law, commerce or related discipline
• Open to overseas candidates with relevant Big 4 Financial Services experience
