About the role

Skanos Catering Equipment, a leading supplier of high-quality catering equipment, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts, Bookkeeping and Office Administrator to join our team in our Minto, NSW office. This full-time role will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, processing invoices and payments, managing purchasing from Overseas suppliers, the processing of sales orders to customers,and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our operations.

What you'll be doing

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable

Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner

Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts

Manage Purchase orders to suppliers, and Sales order processing from Customers

Coordinate with International Freight Partners.

Manage Outbound instructions to 3PL Warehouses

Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements

Provide administrative support, including managing correspondence, filing, and other office duties

Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders as needed

Frontline phone reception

Please contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial and administrative processes

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field

2-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the catering or hospitality industry

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure accurate and timely financial records

Proficient in using accounting software such as Xero and Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Inventory Management Systems such as Unleashed will be viewed favourably

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
