Our client operates the most successful and leading Heavy Truck Dealership in Western Australia. Operating from this state-of-the-art dealership we are seeking the services of a seasoned, high performing sales manager who can take the team and sales to the next level.
This dealership boasts 2 franchises both of which serve mining and traditional truck markets.
The candidate we are seeking must have a proven background in Sales Management, preferably in the capital equipment sales industry.
Reporting to the Dealer Principal this role places you in the heart of the Senior Management Team. If you are seeking a role with a progressive company, then this could be your home run.
This role will require you to keep In touch with our massive base of existing customers and ensue that the team reaches out to every other player in the industry, our desire is to own this mountain.
We would expect that you are across the competing brands in the market and ensure that you maintain our company’s brand is on every clients shopping list.
The candidate we are seeking must be able to:
· Able to support management with accurate reporting and forecasting
· Preparation of concise Sales & Territory Plans for all sales team members
· Reporting to and supporting the general manager of the dealership
· Participate in all deals going in the marketplace at any time, targeting 100% Close
· Monitoring all deals and ensuring profitable outcomes
· Fostering and building a tightly knit for the sales team and relationships to other departments within the dealership
· Build exceptional relationships with our OEMs, working closely with them to ensure maximum exposure in the marketplace
You will have the following experience, skills & attributes:
· Ability to engage the companies CRM system, and ensure it is used to track activity and deals
· Experience as a sales manager and a previous track record of leading teams to success
· Ability to coach, mentor and develop all team members to a Top Tier Winning Team in Western Australia
· Formal qualifications are not essential, however trade qualifications and/or tertiary qualifications in business will be viewed favorably.
· Experience in similar capital equipment, Trucks, Agriculture, Mining & Construction Equipment would be beneficial.
· Perth Based , and authorized to work in Australia
· Current and valid drivers license
