The Client

Our client is an established, growing, supplier and distributor of high end furniture and interior products for the residential and commercial interiors market across WA . They are highly regarded and respected and are seeking to employ an experienced sales manager to coach, lead and mentor their commercial trade sales team across WA.

The Role

Your new role will be based from their Perth Head office and will see you leading, driving, coaching and mentoring a team of 5 sales staff from their beautiful showroom in Perth CBD. Your role will be a strategic leadership position and your main focus will be to oversee and drive the success of the teams via their client base of commercial A&D, builders, developers and various commercial end users. You will be responsible for ensuring the sales team hits budgets and targets, whilst always looking at areas for improvement and increased revenue opportunities. You will not have an individual sales budget to achieve. Working closely with the sales teams you will assist and develop the team in various areas and will maintain a consistent high level of customer service and customer satisfaction. This position is part of the leadership team and you will be required to report back to the directors in terms of performance and areas for improvement.

Skills Required

We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate the following skills;

• Previous successful experience in a sales management role within the high end commercial furniture / decorative interiors industry.
• Strong leadership experience and skills and ability to motivate a team and create a culture of success.
• Passion for training, coaching and developing staff.
• Previous experience of selling premium brands associated with furniture and interiors.
• Some A&D sales exposure and understanding of the sales/specification process.
• Solid commercial acumen with strong reporting skills.

The starting salary package is NEG Based on your experience - circa $120-140K + Super + Car or Allow + Bonus linked into your teams performance.
