Role Summary:

The primary purpose of this role is to assist the Centre Manager in all operations of our City Cave Float and Wellness Centre.

We deliver Floatation Therapy, Infrared Sauna and Massage Therapy services and are the worldwide leader in this space.

You are responsible for assisting in the day-to-day administration of Team Members and the management of the Centre’s commercial activities. This includes rostering, posting on social media stories, assisting the Centre Manager and Owner in new and interesting marketing initiatives and ensuring that the cleanliness and hygiene of the Centre is what our guests expect from our brand. You are the forefront of providing excellent customer service to our guests, as well as recommendations of the best value ways that guests can purchase and use our services.

You are the Brand Ambassador for your City Cave, setting the standard of service, quality and overall results of the Team.

Highly desirable skills:

Customer service excellence.

Leading and motivating other Team Members to meet targets.

Experience in sales.

Budgeting/rostering.

Marketing/beauty/salon/gym other similar industry expertise are highly regarded.

Clear and effective communication is a must, where you can build trust and rapport with varied ages/experiences of our Team members, as well as ensuring that any complex customer issues are handled respectfully and satisfactorily.

A high degree of computer literacy is essential, email demeanor and ability to use/adapt to technology. Some example are: connecting and troubleshooting bluetooth, copying marketing material between computers/systems/usb drives, posting on social media, using a point of sale/online booking and reservations system.

You will have a high degree of flexibility in choosing your work hours. Some outside of hours contact/advice is sometimes required, however effectively managing your team ensures that this is minimised and your Centre runs smoothly. We are flexible in finding a balance that suits your lifestyle.

Centre Managers will have a minimum of one paid travel trip for City Cave Annual Conference per year for personal development and training. The last few destinations were Port Douglas, Queenstown New Zealand and Surfers Paradise. There is also periodic travel opportunities to Sydney, Brisbane and/or other City Caves for quarterly/bi-annual training and development, pending HQ scheduled activities.

Free Float and Sauna services are available for your use each month, as well as discounted massage services as a part of our employee wellbeing program to help you feel great.

Your performance in boosting revenue at your Centre will ensure you are eligible to receive bonuses when they are offered at key periods throughout the year, as well as future growth opportunities for you to step into Centre Manager / Area Manager positions and/or progress further within the brand HQ, pending performance and demonstrated ability.
