About the Role
This is a well-rounded, hands on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and making a meaningful impact in a busy healthcare setting. You will be patient facing, operating the front desk and helping support team members.
Key details:
Full-time, permanent position
Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays for cover shifts.
Preferred start date of 4th August 2025
Based in O'Connor, ACT
Key Responsibilities:
Clinic Operations & Team Coordination
Oversee reception and other activities of practice including patient schedules and flow, paperwork, filing, statistics, billing and payment, stock control, and doctor-patient communication.
Support reception as needed and coordinate all day-to-day clinic functions
Ensure consistency, tidiness, and patient experience across all touchpoints
Team Leadership & HR
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing staff development
Manage rosters, KPIs, staff reviews, and performance conversations
Foster a strong, motivated team through accountability and leadership
Marketing & Community Engagement
Managing the internal, external and digital marketing for the practice.
Liaise with contractors on social media, SEO, and advertising performance
Report on key marketing metrics
Finance & Systems
Oversee bank reconciliation, invoicing, payroll, and financial reporting
Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
Maintain excellent level of knowledge of CSC Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manual and ensure compliance with SOP by all staff members.
About the Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will bring strong leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and a solution-focused mindset. They will be confident in managing staff, systems, and performance metrics, and will be comfortable working in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key selection criteria:
Previous management or leadership experience (required)
Experience in healthcare, allied health, or practice management (preferred but not essential)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Comfortable with reporting, financial processes, and system improvement
