Bungalow is an established popular venue in Dunsborough specialising in Mediterranean cuisine, sourdough wood fired pizza, natural wine and craft beer.

We're offering an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic fast paced environment whilst enjoying the laid back lifestyle of the southwest.

The preferred candidate will show a willingness to get stuck straight into assisting the head chef with service of existing menu, streamlining kitchen operations and ordering, managing the kitchen team and operations in the absence of the head chef, and bringing new fresh menu ideas to the table.

The venue opens for both lunch and dinner service, so the position allows for a mixture of day / night / weekend shifts over 5 days.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Strong record in supervision and leadership of kitchen team, including support and mentoring to junior staff, awareness of rostering and COGS management, ordering and stock control

Always strive to maintain and improve the quality of food served in a fast paced service.

Bring a positive attitude and drive to meet and then exceed expectations.

Take direction and guidance from the kitchen manager and company directors

Job Types-

Casual role on offer for probation period with the option to quickly move to Full-time, Permanent salaried position.
