About the role

We are seeking an experienced Event Sales Manager to join our talented team at The Promenade Docklands' in Docklands, VIC. This full-time role will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our events business, delivering exceptional customer service and managing the end-to-end sales process.

What you'll be doing

Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities, engaging with potential clients to understand their event requirements

Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, showcasing our venue, services and facilities

Negotiate contract terms and close sales to meet and exceed revenue targets

Manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle, liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their trusted advisor

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and optimise our sales strategy

Contribute to the development of the events strategy and help drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for

Proven track record in event sales, ideally within the hospitality or tourism industry

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically

Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets

Excellent organisation and time management skills
