About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator and Draftsman to join our team at Cubic Construction Management in Blacktown, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machinery and producing detailed technical drawings to support our joinery projects.

What you'll be doing

Operate CNC machinery to fabricate complex parts and components to precise specifications

Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate production

Produce detailed technical drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software

Liaise with engineers and project managers to understand requirements and provide technical solutions

Maintain CNC machines and tools, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting

Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards

Assemble of joinery cabinets

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a CNC Operator, with a strong understanding of CNC programming and machinery operation

Proficient in the use of CAD software to produce technical drawings and 3D models

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and provide technical solutions

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to precise tolerances

A qualification in Joinery, Cabinet Making and Drafting or a related field is highly desirable

A current forklift licence and experience working in the construction industry would be an advantage
