An opportunity has become available for a skilled nursing professional to join the leadership team at Gove District Hospital as the Nurse/Midwife Management Coordinator – Hospital Nurse Resource Coordinator

Are you a highly experienced and clinically skilled nurse or nurse/midwife ready to take on a pivotal leadership role?

Gove District Hospital is seeking a dynamic Hospital Resource Nurse Coordinator (HNRC) to oversee hospital operations after hours, ensuring seamless service delivery and patient care.

As a key member of the hospital’s management team, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing and Midwifery and the Nurse/Midwife Unit Managers to coordinate patient flow, manage bed allocation, and optimise the use of human and material resources. Your advanced clinical knowledge and management expertise will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of care and operational efficiency.

In this role, you will:

Lead after-hours hospital operations with confidence and professionalism.

Act as the Chief Emergency Warden, coordinating immediate responses to emergency events.

Model excellence in nursing/midwifery practice and mentor less experienced staff.

Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadership and collaboration.

Ensure safe, responsive, and kind care in alignment with NT Health values.
