The Role
As the Nurse/ Midwife Management Coordinator you will be responsible for the day to day operational and personnel management of a Remote Primary Health Centre, ensuring services are delivered cost effectively and culturally appropriately to meet the needs of clients and their families.
You’ll lead a small multidisciplinary health team, oversee clinical governance ensuring safe practice in all aspects of service delivery. You will also be required to participate in a 24/7 Emergency on-call roster with potential travel required to provide relief in other remote sites at short notice.
About you
To be successful, applicants will have:
Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligible for same.
A minimum for 4 years broad based nursing experience, with minimum 2 years clinical experience in a remote setting
A current vaccination, remote emergency and maternity emergency certifications.
Experience driving a manual vehicle, with eligibility to obtain an NT Drivers licence
Ability to travel via 4WD or light aircraft to remote communities in Central Australia.
