Cleaning Operations Manager

Full-Time | Office-Based | Sydney | Includes Travel

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of cleaning services across a national portfolio. Based in our Sydney office, this full-time role involves managing day-to-day operations, coordinating contractors, ensuring compliance, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role includes regular travel to client sites across NSW and occasionally interstate as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate cleaning services across multiple client sites, ensuring SLAs and quality standards are met

Act as the main point of contact for client requests, feedback, and issue resolution

Schedule, brief, and manage cleaning contractors and teams

Conduct site visits, quality audits, and performance reviews

Ensure compliance with safety, insurance, and licensing requirements

Maintain accurate records in the job management system and assist with reporting

Work closely with the Accounts team to verify invoices and resolve discrepancies

Identify and implement operational improvements and support new business opportunities

Travel to client sites regularly for inspections, meetings, and contractor supervision

What You Bring:

Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in cleaning operations or facilities management

Strong leadership and contractor management skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Confident using job management software and Microsoft Office

Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively

Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle required

Willingness and ability to travel regularly for site-based responsibilities
