General Practice – Registered Nurse position

We are seeking a Registerd Nurse to join our team at Main Street Medical Centre
We are a well-respected, family GP Medical Practice in Murwillumbah.
This is a Part-time/Casual position offering a minimum of 2 shifts per week , with the ability to cover annual leave and take on additional shifts as required.
We would look favourably towards Nurses who are highly motivated and have previously worked within general practice/primary care.

Skills and Experience

Current AHPRA registration essential

Previous experience working within a general practice/ primary care would be desirable

Great team member with good communication skills

Enthusiastic about continued learning and teaching

Have a passion for nursing and community care

Duties include, but are not limited to

Clinical patient care; wound management, immunisations and dressings

Setup and assist for minor operations and procedures

Restocking and ordering of clinical and pathology store supplies

Contribute to the development of our clinical protocols, working towards ongoing accreditation
